I think that the Game Fair is the best fair I've ever been to. I train dogs myself and the techniques are ones that I get from the fair. Also It is a great idea that the the dog food services set up because I choose my dog food for my new puppy with there help. not to mention the I have purchased other things for hunting and training and other cool knick knacks. I will be there every year for the rest of time if possible because my dog enjoys it too.
My wife and I have been to Game Fair for 4 years running now. We wouldn't miss it, and our dog loves it. We look forward to this every summer.

Hello Delaney's I have been coming almost every year since you started - - what has it been, around 20 years? I think it has improved and of course, you have added exhibits and events over the years. It's one of the few events you can bring your dog along - - - and even participate if your ego is secure enough. I know my pudelpointer has taught me many lessons in humility while at the fair. It's just a great way to get revved up for the coming hunting seasons. Doug Agustin
Think its a great event, been going for about the last seven or eight years, very informative, really like the dog seminars and listing to the pro trainers, and just getting out, kind of gets you in the mood again if you know what I mean, see you Saturday.

Love the Game Fair in it's natural setting. Great promotion for the outdoor experience of Hunting etc, We need to get children interested in the sport to enjoy the outdoors. Also, fun for diehard Hunters just before Fall Hunting seasons. You should add some Fishing exhibits.
This is a great event for the family and your family dog. I have been coming to the Game fair for the past 6 years and love it. I'm hoping my 1 1/2 golden retriever (Willie) will jump off the dock this year!

The website is wonderful. The game fair is alot of fun, it does take the whole day to look around and enjoy the dog events. We have 2 yellow labs (dutchess and gypsy). dutchess loves doing the OBSTACLE COURSE, she was a second away from being the winner. My husband was with MN. Marine last year and now he has his own exhibit, his own company "The Camouflage Works" located in Princeton. Get your boat painted, a floor put in or even buy a used boat by him. Whoo-hoo!!! Game Fair 2003 was a BLAST, no literally! :) We attended all six days, loved every minute of it. Came home with our new addition - a little girl with blonde hair and smokey gray eyes... mixed lab - mostly yellow. We are taking her pheasant hunting next weekend, but even at little more than 3 mo's she's a great retriever. (By the way, it'll be Mom's first pheasant hunt, too!) Thanks for making a place comfortable for learning for us new sports-people. (I love my new Browning, too!) THANK YOU!!!!

I am really looking forward to going to Game Fair 2004, I had never even heard of it. I saw a commercial on Animal Planet in our area and decided to look up the website. The commercial is action packed and gets you wondering what its all about and the website is so well done! I am really looking forward to the competitions featuring bird dogs and the Beagle Club (as I am in the market for a hound) and my boyfriend will really enjoy the chance to compete in the shooting games. this will be our third year coming up to the gamefair from rochester and its always worth the drive. last year we came up on both weekends to compete the dogs in the dock jumping contest. we had a blast. I like the way the event is separated into areas of interest. waterfowlers all in one area, bow hunters all in one area etc... its a great event that I wouldn't miss for anything. keep up the good work mike danielson rochester, mn

We've been heading out to Game Fair for a few years now and to say the least, I get MORE excited about it every year! We'll be there the 11th and I can hardly wait until then. It just gets bigger and better every year! Looking forward to another good show this year. I've only missed 3 since you started and the fair gets better every year. The only complaint would be regarding purchases. Would like to see a pickup area so purchases could be dropped off and picked up after we get our vehicles. It can be tiring and awkward carrying all the purchases on the bus, especially larger, heavier items. Ken

I love attending the Game Fair each year. I have noticed that each year it becomes more commercialized. One year we actually had some man who was running for an office come up to us and tell us we had a beautiful dog, then he asked what kind it was. The dog is a choc. lab, I thought to myself how hard is that. Then I told him I don't live in the area so I can't vote for you anyhow. He just walked away. I feel like these people who have these booths at your place should at least read up on hunting and hunting breeds so they can relate to the people they are dealing with. I do want you to know you have a great thing going with the game fair, keep up the good work!

I came across your site while looking for your British equivalent, The Country Landowner's Association Game Fair. I was pleased to see that your shop is selling tow-bar covers, in particular in the form of a pheasant's head, which I have been looking for without success since last year's Game Fair at Old Warden, UK. I wish you every success with your event this year but please remember that in UK we are facing a government that appears to be against all forms of country pursuits and also rural life.

I think your web site is great. It is very informative and sharp looking. I have also always enjoyed the Game Fair. I don't always agree with some of your exhibitors (such as the Safari Club) but have had so much fun watching the dogs perform. This was the first time we took our Brittany to the fair. My wife and I were watching the long jump contest and my dog wanted to get wet so bad, it was comical wining and tugging on the leash. Well, I had to go buy a ticket. No he didn't jump off the dock but he had fun retrieving the dummies. My wife, the non-hunter, thought it was so great that I had to go buy ten bucks worth of ticket so he could do all the dog events. She had just as much fun as the dog. Great game fair this year. Went with a hunting buddy on Friday, and went back with the kids on Sunday. 212 miles round trip, but worth it since we get there before 9 a.m., and leave sometime after 4 p.m.
We love every aspect of the Game Fair. We especially like the commitment of the event to get the young involved in the excitement of the day!

great idea to do this our Springer loves to do the dock jump and our cousins shorthair loves it too they train there dog to jump all summer off the dock so she can get good at it she has taken 2nd the last few years thanks again for the good time the stringers

We love Game Fair, we look forward to it every year. This will be the third year that we have attended the fair and will be bringing our new puppy and our choc. lab. This will be the first year that we have the confidence that he won't bolt on us when we try the field tests. CNEDUX Drake (our Choc lab) has been practicing the dock jump all summer long. We just got a Coker/mix (mutt) and we plan on training her to hunt and look forward to getting some tips on how to train small dogs for hunting (from our experience so far it is QUITE different than training a larger dog). I've been attending for about 10 years now, six years while I lived in Minnesota and the past 4 years since moving to Wisconsin.
I looked forward to the day that my children were old enough to appreciate Game Fair, now my 11 year old daughter and I attend every year and she looks forward to this being a day that she and I spend together. As my other children grow she knows she will have to share her time with me so her siblings can enjoy it as well.

I've been going to the Game Fair since 1985. I purchased a really nice dog through contacts I made there. The club representation is great. I also have purchased products at various vendor displays. I am a Hi Tech guy and I really like your website. The Game fair is FUN FUN. I get all energized for the hunting season. I had a display there with campers and trucks in 1985. We are not real big hunters, but we come every year with our daughters to see the booths, pet dogs, enjoy rapture center and visit with relatives at the Minnesota Waterfowl exhibit. Its always clean and provides activities for all of us. Keep it going!!

the game fair is great it is great to see the different attitudes of dogs too their owners I enjoy the shooting games as well as the retrieves we have two chocolate labs so it is fun to compare our dogs that I trained on my own to the ones that are professionally trained keep up the great work appreciated by all thanks

Your website is very attractive and inviting. I am from Liberty Center Ohio and the date conflicts with a contractual agreement with our local Henry County Fair. This is an interesting event that I wish would be offered in Northwest Ohio. Maybe I could attend 'Game Fair' some year in the future. Todd Gramling

I never knew that this was a web site until today. it has a lot of information that I didn't know about the Game Fair and it's very helpful. I've only been to the game fair once a couple of years ago, and it was a blast, and I know that my dog had fun also. I am looking forward to this years game fair, I just hope that the weather holds out. bye!
