LEARN TIPS AND TRICKS FOR PUTTING YOUR GPS TO GOOD USE IN THE FIELD AND ON THE WATER HUNTING AND FISHING GUIDE CHRIS MEYER

A Global Positioning System (GPS) is a fantastic tool for hunters and anglers alike, if they know how to properly use them. Even those of us who know how to use them might not know all the ins and outs of putting the unit to work for being a more successful hunter and angler. Lowrance Pro Staff member Chris Meyer is a hunting and fishing guide as well as a GPS expert who will be sharing his advice daily in a seminar at Game Fair.

An outdoorsman since he was a small child growing up in Arlington, Minnesota, Meyer loves introducing people to the outdoors. An avid hunter and angler, he regularly pursues fish as well as waterfowl, deer, pheasant and elk. “For me if it swims I’ll catch it, if it flies it dies and if it’s brown it’s down,” he said. He is a fishing guide and also does regular guided hunting trips. When he was a college student in South Dakota, Meyer spent a lot of time in the field gaining valuable experience and knowledge that he uses to this day.

Meyer is a GPS expert who answers a ton of questions a day from outdoorsmen and women. “I have a good feel for the kinds of questions people have out there and I’ll cover a lot of those things in my seminar,” he said. At his seminar he’ll also have a lot of handouts about how to best put your GPS unit to work.
