LEARN THE ART OF
BOWHUNTING TROPHY WHITETAIL BUCKS
AND ADMIRE TROPHY CLASS MOUNTS WITH

GERALD SHAFFNER

Few things can attract a crowd as fast as a
trophy whitetail mount because anybody
who has ever hunted knows how difficult
it can be to take such a cunning animal.

Gerald Shaffner has an entire collection
of trophy whitetail mounts from a lifetime
of deer hunting and 30 years of trophy bowhunting.

He’ll be bringing well over a dozen of them
to this year’s Game Fair to display at his booth.

He has personally harvested an incredible
24 Pope & Young class deer-all within 15 miles of his home.

When he’s not in the booth, Shaffner will be
hosting a daily seminar covering the tactics
of what it takes to hunt trophy whitetail.

A bowhunter himself, Shaffner said his
information applies for all hunters
including those with firearms and muzzleloaders.

A native of eastern Illinois, Shaffner said
his seminars are down to earth and that even with
all his experience he still makes mistakes in the woods

“Something I try to stress is that you need
to ease into trophy hunting and you want
to keep it fun and enjoyable no matter what-
I killed a lot of deer before I got into going
after the big ones and I think that’s how it ought to be,” he said.

When asked what his seminar will cover,
Shaffner sad there’s nothing he’s going to leave out.
