RANDY BARTZ
DEMONSTRATES SUCCESSFUL METHODS
OF ENTICING WATERFOWL INTO GUN RANGE
Color isn't always the answer,
black and white is beautiful when it comes
to flags designed to catch the attention of a flock of geese.
Successful methods of enticing waterfowl
into gun range will be demonstrated
daily at by Randy “The Flagman” Bartz.
He will also show how to start retriever
training with his special course called “Hand Signals 101.”"Many years ago, I took major flack when
I first started experimenting with waterfowl
flags," Randy `the Flagman' Bartz admits.
"To some hunters, it just seemed wrong
that adding motion to a decoy set was a good idea.
Most of us as kids had been taught as gospel
that we were supposed to get down and sit still
when we were hunting geese or ducks over decoys.
Here I was violating that rule by suggesting
that certain types of motion, instead of
scaring waterfowl, could actually attract them,
that lots of natural looking, bird-like movement
would bring geese and ducks in from miles
away and actually help to
land them right in the decoys."
Bartz's rule breaking on the matter of motion,
of course, was right.
He and thousands of other waterfowl hunters
now prove every hunting season that
adding life-like movement and bird-imitating
motion in a decoy set is not just a good idea but
sometimes absolutely essential for bringing
always cautious, ever wary geese and ducks within shooting range.
So, how does Bartz's "motion" system work,
check out his seminar for all the details on his “motion notion” system.
