“MR. GOOSE” SCOTT THREINEN IS A YOUNG
AND ACCOMPLISHED WATERFOWLER

 

Scott Threinen is from the goose-rich area of Minnesota around Rochester and had an early introduction to waterfowling. His talent for calling and love of waterfowl has made him a successful guide throughout the Midwest for several years. Threinen will be giving a daily seminar at Game Fair on goose hunting that is not to be missed.

He’s an accomplished calling champion with three Minnesota state titles, the World Team Championship and three runner up finishes at the World Championship. Goose hunting is number one on his list, however, and he enjoys every opportunity he can get to pursue geese. He also loves spending time in a duck blind, chasing turkeys and following dogs in upland fields.

He enjoys working sports shows and competing in calling contests. These public venues give him the opportunity to meet and learn from sportsmen all over the country, and to meet some of the more successful names in the outdoor business. Scott credits his success to his family and friends, and says "there's nothing better than a morning in the pit with friends."
