Tom is the owner of both Dokken's Oak Ridge Kennels,
the largest gun dog training kennel in the
upper half of the United States, and Dokken Dog Supply.
He is the inventor of the Dead Fowl
Trainer
and has appeared in seminars all across the
United States, as well as
South America.
He has numerous television appearances
on ESPN, TNN and major
outdoor channels.

The Dead Fowl
Trainer was first designed over
a decade ago to teach dogs the correct way
to pick
up live birds, eliminating neck and head holds.
Dokken is a tremendous speaker and crowds always
gather to watch him explain the art and science of dog training.
His seminars key in on the need for
consistency
when training your dog and emphasizes that
patience and a minimal amount of time each day is all it takes.
In his Game Fair 2009 demonstrations, Dokken will use black and yellow Labradors from his Oak Ridge Kennels in Northfield, one of the largest gun dog training kennels. Dokken's Oak Ridge retrievers have been featured at seminars and sporting shows throughout the nation, during his 30 years as a dog trainer.
