RON SCHARA

RETURNS AS MC FOR GAME FAIR 2018

As a journalist, Ron Schara has been sharing the great outdoor experience with his readers for nearly three decades. Seeing through the eyes and lives of others, his material has captured the attention of tens of thousands of fresh air enthusiasts by putting them as close to the subject's setting as a reader or viewer can be. Over the years, as his newspaper and television popularity has grown, Ron's personality has become more a part of the fabric of the Midwest's outdoor community.

Ron's soft spoken but direct delivery, and appealing on-camera image, have made him a popular resource as an all-purpose, outdoor/naturalist commentator for many Minnesota radio and television stations. This includes his own program, Minnesota Bound which is seen on Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. & and Sunday nights at 10:30 PM on KARE 11 TV/NBC. Ron's national program, "Backroads with Ron & Raven", airs on ESPN2 and has consistently been one of the highest rated shows on the outdoor block. Ron's programs are seen on national cable outlets THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL; it is also seen on KTTC-TV/NBC in Rochester, MN.; & on KVLY-TV/NBC in Fargo, N.D. and on KSFY-TV/ABC in Sioux Falls,S.D. His Minnesota Outdoors radio program can be heard on WCCO-AM radio on Saturday mornings. Ron's television programs have won a total of four Emmy's to date.

His ever rising popularity hasn't been achieved by having his personality dominate the story. Rather, Ron prides himself in letting the story happen through those who live it and simply allow himself to be the guide to discovery. He's there to share a story, or to inform on a cause or controversy. Deep in the wilderness on the shore of an ancient glacial trout lake or wading the waters of an environmentally threatened inner city wildlife pond, Ron's knowledge and understanding of our natural surroundings is more than just a journalist's assignment. He grew up loving the outdoors in northeast Iowa's rugged bluff country. He graduated with degrees in journalism and fish/wildlife biology and he has never veered from his ambition. Whether writing a newspaper story, talking with his radio and television audience, or appearing before a live audience, Ron Schara likes to use colorful storytelling to create a story for his audience.

TIM BRADLEY

THE ULTIMATE SHOOTER

Tim learned to shoot at an early age. Growing up on his family’s farm in Northeast Arkansas gave him the opportunity to shoot almost everyday. He devoted every spare minute to hunting, trapping, and shooting, often burning up five or six cases of .22 ammo a year. During his high school years Bradley became interested in boxing and martial arts, earning his black belt in karate at the age of 17.

Utilizing the discipline he learned from the martial arts and his ability for mastering extreme challenges, upon completion of his education, Bradley tackled the unique and difficult requirements for becoming a modern-day bounty hunter. Honing his gun handling skills for the specific demands of rounding up bad guys sparked an interest in Bradley for exhibition shooting. During extensive practice sessions Bradley used a training method whereupon mastering one challenging shot, he constantly pushed the envelope to master the next more difficult shot. Only after years of practice and firing thousands upon thousands of rounds were Bradley’s talents recognized by non other than Tom Knapp, Team Benelli USA’s World Record-holding exhibition shooter.

Determination and dedication to perfecting specific shooting skills finally paid off for Bradley, who was invited by Knapp and Benelli’s VP of Marketing & Communications, Stephen McKelvain to join Team Benelli’s busy 2006 shooting exhibition schedule. “I’m very excited to be joining Team Benelli and sharing the spotlight with such a legendary shooter as Tom Knapp,” Bradley said, “Just getting to travel the world shooting for a living is a dream come true for me."

AARON & STEVE GOULD

THE GOULD BROTHERS - AMERICA'S HOTTEST NEW EXHIBITION SHOOTING TEAM

Gould Brothers Exhibition Shooting (GBX) is comprised of Aaron and Steve Gould. The Gould Brothers have very different personalities, but are extremely passionate about similar things. GBX promotes the shooting and hunting sports, conservation, gun safety, and living with a purpose. The Gould Brothers are most well know for their live exhibitions shooting shows performed at events across the country and for their online videos seen across the globe.

Aaron developed a love for the outdoors and shooting sports at a young age from an uncle who would take him on walks in the woods and shooting on the family farm. It was squirrel hunting where Aaron first started to learn his skills as a marksmen and outdoorsman. As time progressed he learned how to shoot and hunt with compound bows, muzzle loaders, and of course, shotguns. The time he has spent with family and friends afield and at the range is special. Aaron says “I work and shoot with my brother every week; you cannot put a price tag on opportunities like that.”

Steve's story is a little different than most professional shooters. Steve did not grow up shooting and hunting. In-fact, it wasn't until he became a christian in college when Steve's passion for shooting and hunting began. After that point every possible opportunity was spent in the field or on the range. Through hard work and determination Steve has risen to his current level of professional shooting. Steve says "My story goes to show that even if you didn't grow up hunting and shooting it's not too late to start. Many kids are growing up without the opportunities to hunt or shoot and therefore they never become interested and slowly our heritage dies. One of our goals it to spark that interest in kids and adults to help ensure that the heritage continues."
